"In 16 years of Miss Brasil USA, I have been participating as a choreographer for 15. In my point of view, these 16 years of Miss Brasil USA is a landmark of the Brazilian community here in the U.S. because we can say that it was the only event that served as a coalition of communities, from north to south, east and west in the country. In the beginning, everyone thought the idea was a little utopian belief, considering beauty contest a thing of the past. We had a big surprise, because as every year passed by, the event grew and had the participation of great Brazilian stars and our local stars. As I always say: this event is a showcase for the participants, for artists who want a place in the sun under this so competitive world of performing arts. I believe that this event is just beginning a new phase of existence, because much more is coming. Those who are alive will see! "
